Everything runs fine so far. I don’t really have any complaints, though part of me still feels like it could be a little better somehow. It does what it’s supposed to do, and I’m happy with it overall, even if I’m not completely blown away.

I’m so mentally drained from dealing with launchers, always-online checks, and DRM nonsense everywhere else. This is such a relief. No DRM, no jumping through hoops — I can just buy the game, download it, and actually feel like it’s mine.

I’ve always liked GOG for picking up older games, and the no-DRM thing is a big plus. That said, finding stuff on the site can be kind of a pain sometimes. I’ll search for a game and get results that feel a bit random, or I’ll want to find something similar and it’s not super easy unless I already know the exact title. The filters help a little, but they’re still kinda clunky. Overall, it’s a good site, just needs a cleaner, easier way to browse.

I’ve been using gog a lot more for online co-op recently, it’s been smooth! Invites go through without a headache, my cloud saves sync when I switch over to my laptop, and I really appreciate not having to deal with a bunch of extra launchers :) A couple of older games needed a quick forum search to get multiplayer working, but the answers were there and it didn’t take long. The Galaxy friends list is basic, but that’s totally fine with me... it does what I need. Downloads have been steady, updates haven’t ruined my evening, and overall I’m happy with it!

I had a game that didn’t show up in my library after checkout, so I opened a ticket. i was expecting to wait a couple days, but they got back to me the next morning, which was a Nice surprise.

It still took one more message to fully fix it, but the support person was actually helpful and didn’t just send some copy-paste reply. Not totally perfect since the replies were a little Slow, but overall Good enough for 4 stars

I did get my money back after two days, but that delay was annoying and feels like it was on them. A refund shouldn’t take that much chasing or waiting. At least it finally went through.
